Orient CA beat Battalion Boys Club by 3 wkts, Asadur hit century

A fine century by Asadur guided Orient Cricket Academy to a three-wicket victory over Battalion Boys Club in a qualifying round match of the Third Division Cricket League at the Gulshan Youth Club ground Sunday, reports UNB.
Batting first, Battalion Boys Club were all out for 237 in stipulated 45 overs with Rahul scoring 67 runs.
Al-Amin caused the major damage to the Battalion Boys innings claiming six wickets for 33 runs.
In reply, Orient Cricket Academy reached their target of 238 runs in 44.1 overs for the loss of seven wickets with Asadur contributing a polished 118 runs off 119 balls that featured 12 fours and five sixes.
In the day's other matches, Udayan Cricket Academy White team (92/2 in 11.4 ov) beat Azampur Boys Club (91/10 in 28.4ov) by eight wickets at the Dhaka University ground, Mirpur Shaheed Buddhijibi Cricket Academy (194/10 in 42.4ov) defeated Gazipur Young Cricketers (178/10 in 41ov) by 16 runs at the Dhanmondi Club ground, while Bodyline Cricket Coaching School (87/2 in 10.3ov) beat Udayan Cricket Academy Green team (83/10 in 26ov) by eight wickets at the Uttara Cricket ground.
