In the day's other mixed doubles matches, Bikash Shrestha and Nangsal Tamang (Nepal) beat Tushar Krishna Roy and Rehena Parvin (Bangladesh) 21-9, 22-20; Satinder Malik and Kristi Das pair (India) defeated Indra Mehata and Meena Shrestha (Nepal) 21-18, 21-12; Wee Gieen Tan and Yen Wei Peck (Malaysia) beat Gaurav Venkat and Juhi Dewangan (India) 21-17, 21-13; while Ratnajit Tamang and Sara Devi Tamang (Nepal) defeated Jabed Mostafa and Elina Sultana (Bangladesh) 21-11, 21-15 to reach the pre-quarterfinals.
In the women's singles, Ozge Bayrak (Turkey) beat Riya Pillai (India)
21-12, 21-7; Neslihan Yigit (Turkey) defeated Shruti Mundada (India)
