Parvez, Bholanath win in Fed Cup squash singles

Swapan Parvez of Basundhara Group beat Jain Omar of Dhaka Club by straight 3-0 sets in a premier division singles match of the Federation Cup Open Squash Tournament that began at the Gulshan Club in the city Thursday, reports UNB.
Housing and Public Works Secretary ASM Rashedul Hai formally inaugurated the 10-day meet as the chief guest.
In the other premier division singles match, Bholanath of Sonargaon Hotel defeated Dilu of Gulshan Club by 2-1 sets.
