Dhaka and Patuakhali Districts emerged zonal champions to reach final round of the Walton Inter-District Volleyball Championship Tuesday, reports UNB.
Dhaka District clinched the Dhaka zone title beating hosts Gazipur District by 25-23, 27-25, 29-27 in the zonal final at Gazipur Stadium.
Local parliament member Zahid Ahsan Russell was the chief guest in the final and later he distributed the prizes.
Patuakhali District won the Barisal zonal crown defeating Barisal District by 25-21, 25-20, 27-25 points in the final.
