Play with confidence: PM to Tigers

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina told the Bangladesh cricket team on Tuesday to have utmost confidence during their World Cup games, reports UNB.

"Take no pressure and play your games with confidence," she said when the national team, led by Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, called on her at Ganobhaban in the city.

BCB President Nazmul Hasan, Director Naimur Rahman Durjoy, World Cup team Manager Khaled Mahmud Sujan, Team Manager for Ireland tour Minhajul Abedin Nannu and Head Coach Steven Rhodes were present on the occasion.

The cricket world cup will kick off in England and Wales on May 30. Tigers will face South Africa in their first match on June 05. Before that, Bangladesh will play a tri-nation ODI series in Ireland from May 05 with the hosts and West Indies. Tigers will leave Dhaka for Dublin today (Wednesday).
