Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina greeted Friday the Bangladesh cricket team for their victory against visiting Zimbabwe in the second and series deciding match of the three-match Test series at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna, reports BSS.
Bangladesh defeated the touring team by a massive 162 runs to win the series.
In a congratulatory message, the PM greeted the players, coaches and staff of the national cricket team for their victory.
She expressed the hope that the trend of Bangladesh's victory would continue and further advance by crossing all hurdles. Sheikh Hasina also wished continued success of the Bangladesh team.
Meanwhile, State Minister for Youth and Sports, Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Chief Whip, Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports and Jatiya Party's chairman also congratulated the national cricket team for their 2-0 Test series victory over Zimbabwe.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder, MP, felicitated the national cricket team.
Speaker of the parliament Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury hailed the Bangladesh cricket team for their magnificent Test series victory over Zimbabwe.
Deputy Speaker M Fazle Rabbi Miah congratulated the team for their 2-0 Test series victory.
Chief Whip ASM Feroz greeted the Tigers for their outstanding victory over Zimbabwe. Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy hailed the Bangladesh them for the remarkable 2-0 Test series victory over Zimbabwe.
Jatiya Party chairman and former President Hussain Muhammad Ershad also hailed the national cricket team for their brilliant Test series victory over Zimbabwe.
