Polash of Rahmatullah Model School emerged champion in the men's single of the Inter Dhaka Metropolis Table Tennis (TT) Competition outplaying Talha of North South University by straight 3-0 sets at the West End High School in the city Saturday, reports UNB.
In the women's singles event, Turbina of South East TT Club became champion, beating Binti of Azimpur Girls' School by 4-3 sets.
In the men's team event, Rahmatullah Model School clinched the title, outplaying East West University (Red) by 3-0 sets while Azimpur Girls' School became champion in the women's team event.
Later, Bangladesh Table Tennis Federation joint secretary and president of the Table Tennis Players' Association Saidul Huq Sadi distributed prizes among the winners.
