Police AC crushed Bachelors SC by 8-1 goals in a match of the Green Delta Insurance First Division Hockey League at the Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in the city Wednesday, reports UNB.
Rana Das scored five goals and Khairul Amin two goals while Kamal Hossain netted the other goal for the winners who led the first half 6-0.
KM Rajib scored the consolation goal for the losers.
In the day's other match, Barnak Samaj beat Farashganj SC by 2-1 goals at the same venue. All three goals came in the first half.
Prosenjit Roy and Mohammad Ivan scored for Barnak Samaj, while Jasim Uddin for Farashganj SC.
