The prestigious domestic Bangladesh Premier Football League will begin on April 3 instead of March 9 as scheduled earlier, reports BSS.
The decision was taken in a profession league committee's meeting held Friday at the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) conference room with BFF senior vice president and professional league committee's chairman Abdus Salam Murshedy in the chair.
This season the Premier League will be held only at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city as Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni in Gopalganj and MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong are yet not fully ready to host to league matches.
