Friday's two matches of the Manyavar Bangladesh Premier League were abandoned due to unplayable field conditions at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city, reports UNB.
Dhaka Mohammedan and Rahmatganj took the field at 4:15 pm, but the match was halted just after seven minutes due to the heavy downpour.
The day's second match between Brothers Union and Soccer Club, Feni, which was scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm, was also postponed for the same reason. Both the matches will be bodily shifted, according to the BFF.
