Presidency University made a good start in the Mentors Inter-Private University Football Tourna-ment beating Stamford University by 2-0 goals at the Army Stadium in Banani Sunday, reports UNB.
The day's other match between Gano University and International University of Business, Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) ended in 1-1 draw at the same venue.
Towhidur Rahman put IUBAT ahead in the 7th minute while Sanwar Hossain scored the equaliser for Gano University in the 68th minute.
