Press Club sports concludes

The eleven-day sports competition of Jatiya Press Club concluded in the city Wednesday through five different groups of marathon competition participated by some 200 club members and their families, reports UNB.
National Press Club organised seven disciplines of sports competition -- table tennis, chess, spade trump, shooting, ludu and marathon -- in the 11-day sports meet arranged on the occasion of its 53rd founding anniversary.
After the day's competition, prizes of different sports competitions were distributed among the winners.
Press Club President Shawkat Mahmud, General Secretary Kamaluddin Shabuj, sports committee convener Bakhtiar Rana and Manging Director of sponsor Phoenix Insurance Company Pirjada Saifullah Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
