PSG beat Caen to reach nine-point lead in Ligue 1

PARIS, Dec 21 (Reuters): Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)?reached the halfway mark of the Ligue 1 season in the driving seat after goals by Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe inspired them to a 3-1 home win against Caen on Wednesday.
As Ligue 1 heads into a winter break until January12, PSG have 50 points from 19 games and lead second-placed Monaco, who beat Stade Rennais 2-1 at Louis II, by nine points.
