Railway beat Bachelors

Dhaka Railway SC notched a comfortable 4-1 goals victory over Bachelors SC in the Green Delta Insurance First Division Hockey League at the Maulana Bhasani National Stadium in the city on Monday, reports UNB.

Abir Bin Sayed and Bellal Hossain scored one field goal each for the winners while Aqib Javed and Taher Ali netted the remaining two goals from penalty corners. Mustafizur Rahman scored a field goal for the losers.

In the day's other match, Shishu Kishore Sangha defeated Barnak Samaj, also by 4-1 goals at the same venue.

Mehdi Hasan Sabuj struck twice from penalty corners while Rakibul Hasan and Sajjad Hossain scored one field goal each for the winners.  Ujjal Kumar Roy netted the lone field goal for the losers.

Today's (Tuesday) match: Police AC vs Mukta Bihanga Tarun Sangha (3:30 pm).
