Rajshahi keep winning run

Rajshahi Division recorded their 5th outright victory in the 8th round match on the 4th and final day of the four-day Ispahani Mirzapore Tea 10th National Cricket League beating Dhaka Division by nine wickets at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in the city Thursday, reports UNB.
Dhaka Division, dismissed for 142 runs in the first innings, resumed the 2nd innings with an overnight score of 251 for 7 and were all out for 256 runs in 100.5 overs, adding only five runs with the remaining three wickets in the day's four overs.
Delwar Hossain, who bagged three wickets for 56 runs Wednesday, finally grabbed five wickets for 60 while Shafiul Islam claimed the remaining one wicket to finish two for 17 runs.
Chasing a target of 116 to win, Rajshahi opened the 2nd innings and easily reached their target scoring 117 runs for the loss of one wicket in 24 overs.
Opener Zaharul Islam contributed not out 68 off 74 deliveries featuring 11 fours and one six while another opener Hamidul Islam made 40 off 64 balls with nine fours.
Shamsur Rahman picked up the lone wicket giving away nine runs.
Rajshahi pacer Delwar Hossain who grabbed 10 wickets-five wickets each in both the innings-was adjudged man of the match.

In the day's other match at Sylhet Stadium, Barisal Division forced hosts Sylhet Division for making a draw scoring 178 runs for 6 in 53 overs in the 2nd innings at stumps of the 4th and final day Thursday.
Sylhet Division, which declared the first innings at 366 runs for 9, resumed the 2nd innings with 127 for 2 and again declared the innings scoring 251 runs for 7 in 77 overs.
Opener Imtiaz Hossain, resumed batting with 74 runs, scored 82 runs off 111 balls hitting 10 fours and four sixes while another night watch batsman Rajin Saleh (15) made 71 runs with the help of nine fours and one six.
Saju Dutta captured three wickets for 54 runs while Arafat Salahuddin bagged two for 24 runs.
Chasing a huge target of 348 runs, Barisal Division scored 178 for 6 in 53 overs at stumps on the 4th and final day today to escape defeat.
Nasir Hossain (60), Ronny Talukder (48), Imran Ahmed (40), Hannan Sarker (12) were the major contributors for Barisal Division.
Taposh Ghosh claimed three wickets for 50 runs while Nabil Samad and Rashedur Rahman took one wicket apiece.
Golam Rahman of Sylhet Division, who scored 116 runs in the first innings and 27 runs in the 2nd innings, was adjudged man of the match.
