Rizwan-led Pakistan all set for Australia challenge

LAHORE, Nov 03 (Agencies): Pakistan will head into the first ODI against Australia on Monday with fiery fast bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf and Mohammad Hasnain featuring in the playing XI squad, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Sunday.
Pakistan's new white-ball skipper Mohammad Rizwan will lead his side for the first time since assuming captaincy this month at Melbourne against Australia on Monday.
The new skipper aims to begin his captaincy on a positive note via a win against the Kangaroos.
The national side is scheduled to play three ODIs against Australia with the second and third fixtures scheduled on November 08 (Adelaide Oval) and November 10 (Perth Stadium), respectively.
The series will be followed by a three-match T20I series from November 14 to 18. With Salman Ali Agha being Rizwan's vice-captain, the team will be coached by Jason Gillespie.
