Rupali Bank win over AV Sporting

Rupali Bank Krira Parishad earned a 35-run victory over AV Sporting Club in the Dhaka Premier Division Women's Cricket Super League on the BKSP ground-4 in Savar Thursday, reports UNB.

The bankers team batted first after winning the toss and piled up a comfortable 208 runs for 6 in stipulated 50 overs.

One down Farzana Haque scored the match highest 58 runs off 98 deliveries, including eight boundaries, two down Lata Mondal contributed an unbeaten 50-ball 53 runs with six fours while Sandamali Kumuduni made 33-ball 22 runs hitting three fours.

Tithi Rani claimed two wickets for 19 runs, Panna Ghosh also grabbed two wickets for 49 runs while Lily Rani took one for 47 runs.

In reply, AV Sporting Club were forced to fold their innings at 173 runs for 9 in quota 50 overs with Farzana Boby making 38, Shahnaz Parvin 30, Tithy Rani 20 and Sharifa Khatun 17 runs.

Lata Mondal, who quick-fired not out 53 runs, also took one wicket for 25 runs and was adjudged the player of the match.
