After a one-day recess, the 18th round of the B League begins Thursday with Sheikh Russel KC taking on Arambagh KS in the day's lone 2nd phase match at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS), reports UNB.
The match kicks off at 4:30pm. There will be no B League match Friday at the BNS due to the 23rd National Junior Athletics Competition.
On Saturday, Chittagong Mohammedan SC will face Farashganj SC at the Chittagong MA Aziz Stadium.
Popular club Abahani Limited is enjoying the top slot securing 32 points from 15 matches while Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad KC is in the 2nd position bagging 30 points but they played one more matches than Abahani's 15.
Arch-rival Dhaka Mohammedan SC also kept themselves in the title race collecting 29 points from 15 matches followed by another metropolis club Sheikh Russel KC in the 4th position with 28 points from 16 matches.
Brothers Union club is in the 5th position at the point-table gathering 23 points (15 matches) followed by Arambagh KS 19 points from 15 matches, Farashganj SC 18 points from 16 matches, Chittagong Mohammedan 19 points from 15 matches, Khulna Abahani 12 points from 15 matches, Chittagong Abahani 12 points from 16 matches and Rahmatganj MFS nine points from 16 matches.
