Krishna Rani Sarkar slammed a brilliant hat-trick which saw Bangladesh national eve football team get off to an auspicious start in the 3rd Women's SAFF championship when they dumped Afghanistan by 6-1 goals in their opening match Thursday at the Jinnah National Stadium in Islamabad, Pakistan, reports BSS.
The winners led the first half by 2-1 goals.
Apart from Krishna's hat-trick with three goals in the 36th, 47th and 69th minutes, Maynu Marma, Sabina Khatun and Munmun Akter netted one goal each for Bangladesh in the 34th, 62nd and 90 plus minutes respectively.
Marjan scored the consolation goal for Afghanistan in the 23rd minute.
