A captain's knock of 164 runs by Kraigg C Brathwaite guided Sagicor High Performance Centre (SHPC) of West Indies to a 351-run win against visiting Bangladesh A team in their first four-day match on the third day at Windward Park in Barbados Wednesday, reports UNB.
On the third day, SHPC resumed the second innings (292 in 1st innings) with overnight 170 for 2 in 45 overs, and declared the innings at 351 for 8 in 85.1 overs.
Night watch opener KC Brathwaite (96) scored 164 runs off 237 balls with 15 fours and a six. Middle order Jonathan Carter scored 49 runs off 50 balls with 7 fours and a six while Leon Johnson (42), Carlos Brathwaite (37) and Chadwick Walton (17) were the other notable scorers for SHPC.
Taijul Islam claimed 3 wickets for 95 runs, Rabiul Islam bagged 2 wickets for 64 runs while Mominul Haque took 1 for 44 runs.
Chasing a mammoth 503 runs, Bangladesh in their second innings were all out for 152 in 38.2 overs.
Shamsur Rahman scored team highest 33 runs while Nurul Hasan (23), Mominul Haque (22), Muktar Ali (20) and Marshall Ayub (18) were the other double digit scorers for Bangladesh.
