Saimon finishes 45th

Saimon Siddiqur Rahman finished 45th position in the 4th Dhubotara Cup Open International Chess Tournament that concluded recently in Damka, Nepal, reports BSS.

Saimon earned 5 points out of 9 games. 9th or last round games were held last Monday and Saimon lost to Gajmer Devraj of Nepal. Anurag Jaiswal of India emerged champion and Janardan Shrestha became runner-up with 8 points each.

A total 157 players including one international Master from Bangladesh, India and Nepal are participating in the event.
