A nine-wicket haul by Saqlain Sajib restricted Zimbabwe A team to 206 for all in the first innings of their first four-day match against Bangladesh A at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox's Bazar Sunday, reports UNB.
Sajib claimed the nine wickets conceding 82 runs in 31.1 overs with 6 maidens.
Replying to Zimbabwe's 206, host Bangladesh scored 30 runs in 13 overs without loss in their first innings, at stumps.
Liton Kumar and Sadman Islam were batting on 23 and 4 runs respectively.
Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, visiting Zimbabwe A scored 206 runs for all in 74.1 overs.
Regis Chakabva contributed team highest 64 runs off 110 balls with three fours, skipper Vusimuzi Sibanda scored 62 runs off 99 balls with five fours while Brian Chari (30), Wellington Masakadza (16) and Tino Mawoyo (12) were the other double digit scorers for the visitors.
Besides, Saqlain Sajib's 9 wickets, Forhad Hossain took one wicket for 26 runs in 12 overs.
Bangladesh will resume their first innings at 9:30 am today (Monday).
