Scholastica, Sunnydale move into girls\\\' final

Scholastica and Sunnydale School reached the girls' final of the Milkman Mini Handball Tournament eliminating their rivals in the semifinals at Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium Thursday, reports UNB.

Final matches of both the boys and girls groups will be held Sunday (Feb 23). State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder will be the chief guest in the finals.

The 3rd place-deciding matches of both the boys and girls groups will also be held on Sunday, prior to the finals.

In the day's girls' semifinals, Scholastica School beat Viqarunnisa Noon School & College by 9-2 goal after dominating the first session 3-1 while Sunnydale eliminated Green Herald by 15-5 goal after leading the first half 7-0.
