Second Div Volleyball to begin tomorrow

The Dhaka Metropolis 2nd Division Volleyball League will begin tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Dhaka Volleyball Stadium in the city, reports BSS.

Organised by the Bangladesh Volleyball Federation, a total of nine teams - Sonali Bank RC, Jubo Sangha Club, Banani Nabarun Sangha, Friends Union Club, Dhaka Sporting Club, Nagar Samaj Kalyan Sangha, Nabodaya Sangha, Nabajatak Mazlish Club and Dilkusha SC - will take part in the league to be held in round-robin league system.

The champion team of the second division will be promoted to the first division league while one team from first division will be relegated to the second division league.

The champion team of the league will get Tk 30,000.00 while the runners-up team will have Tk 20,000.00 as prize money.

In this regards, a press conference was held Sunday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium conference room to give all details of the meet.
