Both the semifinals of the KFC National Women's Football Championship will be held today (Thursday) at the BFF Artificial Turf in the city, reports UNB.
Group A champions Bangladesh Ansar & VDP will play Group B runners-up Bagerhat District in the first semifinal at 8:30 am while Team BJMC will encounter Mymensingh District in other semifinal at 10:30 am.
The final match will be held Saturday at 3:00 pm at Bangabandhu National Stadium. In the day's last group matches, Ansar & VDP trounced Narayanganj District by 13-1 goals with Khaleda Khatun, Aungmra Ching and Jahanara Akhter Janu making hattricks scoring three goals each.
Besides, Shanta, Lovely, Mummun and Sui Pru Marma scored one goal each for Ansar & VDP.
In the day's another match, Team BJMC, riding on double-hattrick by Sabina, crushed Bagerhat District by 9-0 goals at the same venue.
Sabina scored eight goals with double-hattrick while Ananya netted the other goal for the winners.
In the day's other match, Mymensingh District defeated Rangpur District by 5-0 goals with Sajeda making hattrick scoring four goals.
