Riding on a Yusuf Kabir hattrick, Sena Palli High School outclassed Motijheel Ideal School and College by 7-0 goals in a match of the Metropolis School Football League (Under-11) at the Segun Bagicha High School ground in the city Friday, reports UNB.
Yusuf scored five goals for his team while Abdul Aleem netted the other two goals for the winners in the one-sided match.
In the day's other two U-11 matches, Khilgaon Model High School beat Motijheel Govt. Boys High Schools 1-0 with Mehdi Hasan scoring for the winners. The other match between Motijheel Govt. Primary School and Ali Ahmad High School ended in a goal-less draw.
In the Under-13 League, Khilgaon High School in their home ground defeated Jatrabari Ideal High School by 3-1 goals. Nasir struck twice while Abul Hossain scored one goal for the winners. Sajal netted the lone goal for the losers.
In another U-13 match, Naim scored for Segun Bagicha High School to beat Haider Ali High School 1-0 while Shaheed Nabi High School defeated Kamalapur School and College 1-0 with Nehal Hossain scoring the match-winner.
