Shahin, Vladimir take joint lead in deaf chess

Md Obaidul Islam Shahin of Bangladesh and Donskikh Vladimir of Kazakhstan took joint lead in the points table with maximum three points after the third round games of 1st Asia Pacific Individual Deaf Chess Championship which is now being held at Hotel 71 in the city on Friday, reports BSS.

Turmanov Berik of Kazakhstan is following the leaders closely with 2.5 points.

Eight players shared the third position with two points.

They are Mohammad Aminul Islam and Md. Ali Newaz Sarkar of Bangladesh, Zhukovskaya Nina, Nurymov Berik and Kuzerbayev Yeldos of Kazakhstan, Kim Eduard, Rakhatbekov Tilegen and Almazbekov Shabden of Kyrgyzstan.

The third and fourth round games were held today (Friday). In the third round of games, Md. Obaidul Islam Shahin beat Rakhatbekov Tilegen, Donskikh Vladimir beat Md. Ali Newaz Sarkar, Turmanov Berik beat Zhukovskaya Nina, Mohammad Aminul Islam beat Nessipzhan Laili of Kazakhstan, Nurymov Berik beat Mussabayev Dulat of Kazakhstan, Kuzerbayev Yeldos beat Otgonbaatar Erdenedalai of Mongolia, Kim Eduard beat Gorokhova Natalya of Kazakhstan and Almazbekov Shabden beat Myagmar Tsagaannokhoi of Mongolia.
