Shahkhawat in joint 189th place

Shahkhawat Hossain Sohel of Bangladesh is in joint 189th place after the first round matches of the Asian Tour Qualifying School Final Stage at the Springfield Royal Golf Club and Imperial Lakeview Golf Club in Thailand Wednesday, reports UNB.

Shahkhawat Sohel made five over par to score 77 with seven Bogeys to share the 189th place with 10 other players in the first round.

Four players-Kinoshita Ryosuke of Japan, Spargo Paul of Australia, Boonma Danthai of Thailand and Jun-seok Lee of Australia (AUS)-are jointly in the top slot with six under par scoring 65.

Some 231 promising golfer from all over the world are taking part in the meet.
