Bangladesh golfer Shakhawat Hossain Sohel jumped 15 steps to become 174th jointly with 14 other players after the second round matches of the Asian Tour Qualifying School Final Stage at the Springfield Royal Golf Club and Imperial Lakeview Golf Club in Thailand Thursday, reports UNB.
After the 2nd round, Shakhawat scored overall 150 with seven over par while scored 73 in the second round with two over par playing two birdies and two bogeys in the first session and two bogeys in the second session.
Earlier, in the first round, Shakhawat played 5 over par to score 77 with seven bogeys and shared the 189th place with 10 other players.
Chikka S of India secured the top slot scoring overall 132 with 11 under par followed by Paul Spargo of Australia scored overall 134 with nine under par after the second round.
Some 231 golfers from all over the world are taking part in the meet.
