The World No 1 all-rounder Shakib touched the landmark when he dismissed David Miller surpassing Abdur Razzak's tally of 44 wickets.
He now has 45 wickets to his name with the best bowling performance of 4 for 21 against Zimbabwe in 2013 at Bulawayo.
The star all-rounder is currently playing his 37 T20I for Bangladesh and has a impressive economy rate of 6.40 runs per over.
