Shakil, Parag take joint lead in Rating Chess

IM Abu Sufian Shakil of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited and FM Mehdi Hasan Parag of Leonine Chess Club now took jointly lead in the points table with 7 points each after the 8th round games of the Golden Sporting Club International Rating Chess Tournament now being held at the Muktijuddho Smriti Stadium Bhaban in Rajshahi, reports BSS.

Four Players are sharing 2nd position with 6.5 points. They are FM Debaraj Chatterjee of Titas Club, WIM Rani Hamid, Dilip Das and Shrutarshi Roy of India.

Five players are sharing 3rd position with 6 points.

They are M Saiful Islam Chowdhury of Sonali Bank Sports & Recreation Club, FM Mohammad Fahad Rahman and Shafiq Ahmed of Titas Club, Shahnaz Mohammad Faruk and M Nasim Hossain Bhuiyan.
