Sharapova pulls out of Los Angeles semis

LOS ANGELES, Aug 12 (AFP): Top-seeded Russian Maria Sharapova withdrew from her scheduled semi-final against compatriot Nadia Petrova at the 600,000-dollar WTA hardcourt tournament here Saturday with a leg injury.
