In the day's match, striker Enamul Haque scored two goals while Cameroon striker Emmanual Ayuk and Shakil Ahmed netted one goal each for the winners who led the first half 3-0. Nigerian striker Felix netted the lone goal for the losers.
Emmanual Ayuk put Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club in the lead early in the 3rd minute of the match with a header from inside the danger zone, capitalising on a coroner kick by Nigerian forward Fami (1-0).
Shakil doubled the Sheikh Jamal margin in the 22nd minute with an angular shot from inside the danger zone off Emmannual close pass giving no chance to Rahmatganj custodian Himel (2-0).
Enamul further widened the margin for Sheikh Jamal in the injury time of the first half (46th minute) with a placing shot from vantage position after giving a clever dodge to custodian Himel who came forward to clear the ball (3-0).
After the lemon break, Nigerian striker Felix pulled one back for Rahmatganj MFS with a placing shot from inside the D-box off a pass from Idris (3-1). Striker Enamul completed the winners' tally scoring his 2nd goal, the 4th for his team, in the 73rd minute with a right footer from inside the danger zone after taking a cross from Shakil (4-1).
Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club clearly dominated the match and notched the deserving victory while Rahmatganj MFS was almost off-color and failed to create any real move, except the day's lone goal.
