Sheikh Russell face SL Air Force today in AFC Cup

Bangladesh champions Sheikh Russell KC will play Air Force team of hosts Sri Lanka in their 2nd Group A match of the AFC President Cup Football at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo Friday, reports UNB.

The match will start at 7:00 pm Bangladesh time.

Bangladesh Premier League champions Sheikh Russell KC, which played to a goalless draw with stronger KRL Football Club of Pakistan in their first match Wednesday, are highly optimistic to beat the Lankan team today (Friday) to stay in the title race.

Ahead of the Friday's match, Russell KC had a recreation session on the sea shore nearby the team hotel  Thursday morning, played water polo in the hotel's swimming pool at noon and made light practices at the Kaliyani Football Complex in the afternoon, said a BFF media release on Thursday.
