Ikramul Haq Siam of Brac University emerged unbeaten champion in the Shaheed Kazi Sadek Hasan International Rapid Chess Tournament held at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hall room in the city Friday, reports UNB.
Siam earned maximum seven points from seven matches to clinch the title while FM Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Titas Club finished runner-up by tie-breaking system as the eight players earned six points each.
A total of 185 players took part in the day long event.
