Siddikur makes cut with six-under

Bangladesh pioneering golfer Siddikur Rahman made the cut with six-under in the US$300,000 Sarawak Championship at Damai Golf and Country Club course in Malaysia on Thursday, reports UNB.

Siddikur aggregated six-under-par 138 from two rounds while the leader Paul Peterson eight shots ahead of Bangladesh's star.

Paul Peterson maintained a two-shot lead for the second successive day, aggregating a superb 14-under-par 130, including five-under 67 in the second round.

The in-form Jazz Janewattananond [Thailand] shared the 2nd spot after posting a 66 in the cut round for 12-under-par 132, matching with American player John Catlin (65) and Kevin Lee of Korea (65).
