Bangladesh's leading golfer Siddikur Rahman went down to 3rd slot in the ICTSI Philippines Open making 139 with five under par after the 2nd round matches at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Manila Friday, reports UNB.

Siddikur, who shared the top slot with Chan Kim of US firing 66 with six under par in the first round Thursday, went down in the race making 73 with one over par with a birdie and two bogeys in round two Friday.

Marcus Both of Australia took lead making total 136 with eight under par while Chan Kim of USA followed the leader making 138 with six under par.

Siddikur, who went down to 18th in the Asian Tour order of merit recently due to his poor show missing the cut in his last two Asian Tour events, seemed unfazed with the day's disappointing performance as per Asian Tour report.

Siddikur said, "I'm happy with my round. I was hitting it good but I couldn't hole my putts. I hit a good number of fairways and greens in regulation but didn't do too well on the greens. I just need to hole more putts.

"I made a lot of good putts and it is unfortunate I couldn't shoot under-par. I'm not disappointed because we have two days more to go.  Every day is a different day and it doesn't necessarily mean that you can get back into the same rhythm so that explains why I shot a 66 yesterday and a 73 today!
