Sixteen advance to men's singles pre-quarterfinal

Sixteen players moved to the pre-quarterfinal of the men's singles of the Islami Bank 28th National Badminton Championship at the Paltan Wooden Floor Gymnasium Saturday, reports UNB.
They are Parash, Enayet, Mahbub, Rois and Tushar (Biman), Mokhter, Hannan, Javed, Saif, Gautam and Raju (Narayanganj), Mashrafe and Pesta (Bogra), Shoaib (Railway), Enam (Sylhet), Zahed (Sylhet Division).
In the women's singles, four players -- Konika, Sima (Biman) and Shapla, Nabila (Narayanganj) -- moved to the semifinal after beating their respective opponents.
