LINZ (Austria), Oct 28 (AFP): Slovakian Daniela Hantuchova had a double success Sunday after qualifying for the Masters with a win over Switzerland's Patty Schnyder in the final of the WTA tournament here.
The second seeded Hantuchova won the 420,600-euro tournament in straight sets 6-4, 6-2.
It was the fourth consecutive win by the 24-year-old, ranked 10th in the world, over Schnyder and tipped the balance of wins between the two to 9-8 in her favour.
The 28-year-old Schnyder, ranked 17th in the world, will have to wait for her 11th career title with her last tournament win in 2005 at Cincinnati.
The eight best players of the season will play in the Masters in Madrid from November 5.
