Sonali Bank Club earned a 3-1 goals victory over Bangladesh Sporting Club in the Green Delta Insurance Metropolis Premier Division Hockey League, reports UNB.
The match was held at the Maulana Bhashani National Stadium in the city on Thursday.
Marjan Hossain, Irfanul Haque and Deen Islam Emon scored one each for the winners. Sajib Hossain netted the lone goal for the losers.
The day's other match between Azad Sporting Club and Victoria Sporting Club ended in 3-3 goals at the same venue.
Debashis Roy, Rohan Sabbir and Mamun Hossain contributed one each for Azad Sporting Club. Hridoy, Jograj Singh. Pushpinder Singh scored for Victoria SC.
