South Africa A team, which arrived in the city Tuesday, starts their Bangladesh campaign with a four-day match against Bangladesh A team today (Friday) at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, reports UNB.
Thami Tsolekile will lead the 2nd string South Africa side while top order batsman Junaed Siddique will lead the home side.
Visiting South Africa A team will also play another four-day match against the same opponents on Apr 29-May 2 at BKSP in Savar. In addition they will play a tri-nation one-day series, also involving West Indies A team.
Touring South Africa team will play the first one-day match against their Bangladesh counterparts on May 5, meet West Indies A team on May 6, play Bangladesh again on May 9 and face West Indies again on May 11, all at the SBNCS in Mirpur.
In the remaining two one-day matches, Bangladesh will play West Indies on May 8 and May 12, also at the SBNCS.
Bangladesh A team will also play two four-day matches against West Indies A team after the departure of South Africa side.
