June 24, 2007 00:00:00

Singapore will host a four-nation football tournament involving North Korea, Saudi Arabia and Oman, according to Internet.
The event is co-organised by the Football Association of Singapore and the Matchworld Group SA.
The Singapore Invitational Tournament starts today (Sunday) and will end on July 7.
The opening match at the National Stadium will be played between Singapore and North Korea at 8.30 pm.
Before the start, a friendly match will be held between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
However another friendly match between the Singapore Under-23 team and Oman has been called off.
This is because the Oman team will not arrive in Singapore in time for the match.
The Oman team will play their first match against Korea at the Choa Chu Kang Stadium on June 28.
