Sri Lanka clinch ODI series

Sri Lanka clinched the ODI series thrashing Bangladesh by 61 runs in the second match on Thursday. Skipper Mushfiqur Rahim waged a lone battle with a breezy 79 but lacked support as the team were 228 all out in 43 overs in reply to Sri Lanka’s 289 for six at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. The hosts’ top order imploded again at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur with batsmen playing rash shots. The Tigers endured a narrow 13-run defeat in the first ODI. The dead rubber of the series will be played on Feb 22 at the same venue.
