Shaheed Ramij Uddin (SRU) School became champions in the junior boy's group of the Korean Ambassador Cup Taekwondo Championship (KACTC) beating Comilla Cantonment High School at the National Sports Council gymnasium Saturday, reports UNB.
In the junior girl's group, Shaheed Anwara Girls College emerged champions while Muslim Modern Academy finished runners-up.
Bangladesh Army lifted the senior men's group championship title while BJMC became runners-up.
Meanwhile, in the senior women's group, Eden Women College became champions while the Army runners-up.
A total 450 competitors took part in the two-day meet, jointly organised by Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation and Korean Embassy in Bangladesh.
South Korean Ambassador in Bangladesh Lee Yun-young distributed prizes among the winners as the special guest at the closing ceremony.
