Super GM Tiviakov starts coaching Bangladesh Chess Team

The coaching of Bangladesh chess team for the ensuing 41st World Chess Olympiad under newly recruited Bangladesh coach and Super GM Sergey Tiviakov began on Monday, reports UNB.
The coaching is being done at Bangladesh Olympic Association auditorium.
Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy inaugurated the program as chief guest.
M Shirajul Islam Mollah MP was the special guest at the function, chaired by Vice-President of Bangladesh Chess Federation KM Shahidullah.
Five players-GM Abdullah Al Rakib, GM Ziaur Rahman, GM Enamul Hossain, GM Niaz Murshed and IM Minhaz Uddin Ahmed -are getting lesson from GM Tivakov for 41st Chess Olympiad to be held in Norway from August 1-15.
Russian origin Tiviakov participated in Olympiad champion team Russia in 1994. He played for the Netherlands from 2000. He became national champion of Netherlands in 2006, 2007 and 2008. Former European champion Tiviakov won many grandmasters tournament, his current rating is 2656 and his peak rating was 2766. He achieved grandmaster title in 1991.
