Swadhinata relegated from BPL

Swadhianta Krira Sangha were relegated from TVS Bangladesh Premier League football after playing to a 2-2 goal draw with Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club held on Tuesday at Birshreshtha Flight Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj, reports BSS.

With the day's outcome, the bottom-ranked team of the league's table Swadinata Krira Sangha, who were promoted for the first time in the season's BPL, bagged ten points from 21 matches while Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, stand fourth position in the table, collected 35 points playing the same number of matches.

Swadhinata's defeat means, Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society are saved from the danzer zone staying at better position in the league table with two matches in hand.
