Taekwondo meet begins tomorrow

The Trust Bank 13th National Senior and Junior Taekwondo competition will begin tomorrow (Friday) at the National Sports Council (NSC) Gymnasium with the participation of 24 districts, associations, clubs and universities across the country, reports BSS.
Adjutant General of Bangladesh Army Major General M Mahfuzur Rahman is expected to inaugurate the two-day meet as the chief guest at 11:00 am. Lee Yun-Young, Ambassador to South Korea in Dhaka will present as the special guest.
A total of 350 participants - 200 of men and 150 of women - will compete in the four events of 26 weight categories. The budget of Tk 911,000.00 has been estimated to run the meet, organised by Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation (BTF).
