A 10-day Talent Hunt Camp for women cricketers, organised by the Women's Wing of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), began at the Dhanmondi Women's Sports Complex in the city Thursday, reports UNB.
Some 30 women players from all the six divisions as well as from BKSP and Ansar & VDP will undergo training in the camp. Later, they will be selected for the women's national team and A team.
Jafrul Ehsan is working as the head coach, while Parvin Putul and Azimul Haque as assistant coaches.
Selected players: Tarifa Parvin, Suborna Islam, Nazma Akter, Sultana Yasmin, Payel, Rubina Sultana, Shaila Sharmin, Mousumi Rahman, Nasrin Islam, Nadia Parvin, Nazmunnahar Pappa, Farhana Sultana, Laboni Akter, Bristi Roy, Sharmin Akter, Anmona Akter, Fatema, Shakila Aziz, Susmita Banik, Pinky Sanwar, Shirin Ruby, Farzana Haq Pinky, Morsheda Khatun Soma, Rozina Akter Jessy, Marjia Akter Momo, Shahnaz Parvin, Nazir Akter, TH Nima, Happy and Sanjida Islam.
