Thai sports minister visits press centre

PHUKET (Thailand), Nov 14 (UNB): Thai Minister for Tourism and Sports Kobkarn Wattanawarangkul visited the main press centre of the 4th Asian Beach Games at Hotel Orchid in Phuket Friday and assured all kinds of media facilities at the games venues.
She gave the assurance while talking to Bangladesh journalists at the media centre in the morning.
The Thai sports minister went round the main media centre and enquired about the facilities and problems in the centre.
Talking to the Bangladesh pressmen, she said: "We want our tourism industry to flourish through this Beach Games providing our attractive tourism packages and facilities."
The Thai sports minister further said: "Through the Games, we want to strengthen our friendly relationship further with the participating countries. We also expect some 25 million tourists in Thailand every year."
