Three Bangladeshi golfers leave here for Japan today (Sunday) to take part in the Asian Amateur Golf Championship to be held October 7-10 in Tokyo, reports UNB.
The three golfers are SA Games gold winner Dulal Hossain, Sakhawat Hossain and Mohammad Zakiruzzaman. Col (retd) Shawkat Ali will accompany the golfers as team manager.
Addressing a press conference at the Bangladesh Olympic Association conference room Saturday, golfer Dulal Hossain said they would fight for the championship title. "We're hopeful about reaching the target."
